Goldizen, Riley & Co. Buyer Representation

Welcome to our Buyer Services F.A.Q. page! We hope that this information will be of value in helping you in the beginning of your home search.

Q: What is "Buyer Agency/Buyer Representation"?

A: Buyer Agency or Buyer Representation, in our opinion, is something that a person looking to buy real estate should never be without. The Purchaser will hire a Broker to represent their interests in the purchase of real estate.

MaHome for salejority of the time, this is FREE of cost to the Purchaser as the Seller will pay the Brokers commission, (certain and rare cases excluded). The purpose is to have a professional representing your interests in the purchase of your home.

The Broker or Agent will walk you through the entire process while looking out for your best interests. The Broker or Agents works solely for you and can be your sounding board with difficult decisions. They will assist you in finding the right lender, draft your contract, negotiate on your behalf, and ensure that you have a sucessful closing. Please feel free to call us for further information...

Q: I'm unhappy with my agent and would like to use you. What do I do?

A: While we're terribly sorry that you're unhappy, we do know that sometimes people see things differently and need a change. Ethically speaking, Brokers and Agents cannot contact another Broker's clients and attemt to "Steal" them. unhappy

Should you, the client, contact us and let us know that you're unhappy with your current agent, we'll explain how to make the change. It's actually very simple and in most cases, we'll do it for you.

 Q: Should I get Pre-Approved for a loan before I get started?

A: Yes, yes...and yes. Why would you want to go shopping and not know how much you have to spend? One of the biggest mistakes made by Purchasers and new agents alike is looking at homes prior to the Purchaser being pre-approved. keys

The Purchaser always ends up looking at homes tens of thousands of dollars more than they can afford and are almost always let down afterward. We have a list of Lenders and Mortgage Brokers that we strongly reccomend. Just give us a call and we'll get you started!
